On behalf of the Senators Community Foundation, our heartfelt gratitude to the 600+ attendees who came together at the 2025 Sens Gala to make a difference in the lives of children and youth in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.

With the incredible support of the Senators community, we’ve been able to provide greater access to care, support, and the magic of sports—like hockey—to children and youth who need it most. This impact wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors, supporters, donors, community members, and dedicated volunteers.

A truly unforgettable moment of the night was the transformational $2 million gift from Kyle & Rachel Braatz, which will directly improve the lives of children at CHEO—$1 million to the Griffin Bell Endowment Fund to support underfunded pediatric cancer research in our region, and $1 million to the Kids These Days campaign.

“We are honoured that Kyle and Rachel would trust the Senators Community Foundation to distribute these funds to the causes that mean so much to them,” said Jacqueline Belsito, president of the Senators Community Foundation. “This level of commitment they are showing in our community is admirable. And these types of significant donations truly help the Senators Community Foundation make a massive impact in our city.”
